full-time Watchtower Security is seeking a highly organized, results-driven Accounts Receivable Recovery Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on recovering outstanding B2B accounts receivable from property owners and management companies while maintaining professional business relationships. You'll manage delinquent commercial accounts, negotiate payment solutions, coordinate with legal when escalation is necessary, and help maximize recovery while maintaining Watchtower's professional standards. What You'll Do Manage and prioritize a high volume of overdue commercial accounts while maintaining accurate records of collection activity. Communicate directly with business clients to resolve delinquent balances. Negotiate payment plans, settlements, and other resolutions that protect the company's financial interests. Determine when accounts require a firmer recovery strategy or legal escalation. Serve as a primary point of contact between Finance and Legal for escalated accounts. Provide senior management with updates on recovery rates, aging reports, and at-risk accounts. Identify and reach the appropriate decision-makers at property ownership and management companies. Use investigative and skip-tracing techniques when necessary to locate commercial property owners. What We're Looking For 3-5 years of experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, or a legal assistant role involving recovery of delinquent balances. General familiarity with the litigation and collection process, including demand letters, complaints, and post-judgment recovery such as garnishments or liens. Knowledge of state-specific lien requirements or commercial property foreclosure processes is helpful but not required. Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to de-escalate difficult conversations and pursue practical resolutions. A firm but fair communication style that balances financial recovery with preserving professional business relationships. Confidence communicating directly with clients by phone and video. Strong Excel skills and comfort working within accounting systems to research billing and account information. Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. A self-motivated, results-oriented approach and comfort working toward financial recovery goals.
