Accounts Receivable Location:

East Rochester, NY 14445 (On-site)

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00

PM Salary Range:

$36,500•52,000 annually, based on experience About the Role We are seeking a reliable and motivated Collections Specialist to join a supportive, growth‑oriented workplace. This role is ideal for candidates transitioning from retail, call centers, or other customer-facing environments into a more professional setting. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls with consumers regarding account balances. Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies. Update account records and ensure compliance with FDCPA and ACA standards. Collaborate with supervisors when additional support is needed. Qualifications Experience in customer service or collections preferred. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to meet performance targets and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or database systems. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Pay:

$36,500.00•$52,000.00 per year Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have handling inbound and/or outbound phone calls with customers or consumers? Are you comfortable discussing outstanding balances, payment options, and account information with consumers? Are you comfortable negotiating payment arrangements while remaining polite, compassionate, and confident? Are you comfortable working toward performance targets and meeting deadlines? Are you proficient with Microsoft Office and/or database systems? Are you available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM? Are you willing and able to work on-site in East Rochester, NY? How many years of experience do you have in collections, customer service, call center, healthcare/OB call center, or legal services?
