Job Description:

This is a direct hire opportunity with a client located in the Gainesville area. Fully Onsite | Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM We're seeking a Collections Specialist to join a collaborative Accounts Receivable team. This is a great opportunity for someone with collections or AR experience who is comfortable communicating directly with customers and managing a significant portfolio of past-due accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Contact customers by phone and email regarding past-due balances Manage collection activity and follow up on payment commitments Process customer payment requests Research and help resolve customer account issues Prepare aging, collection activity, and account status reports

Qualifications:

Previous collections, accounts receivable, or related customer service experience Strong communication and customer relationship skills Comfortable handling difficult collection conversations professionally Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial software systems
