Job Overview Medical Billing Specialist (Experienced)

Apopka, FL Therapy Private practice is seeking and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our established private practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in all aspects of medical billing and insurance follow-up.

Who Are We:

SpeechBuilders is a private practice that provides speech, occupational and behavior therapy to kids. We have been in business for 15 years and are located in Apopka. We have a great team of therapists and admins that work very hard to be sure each child and family feels welcome.

Responsibilities:

Submit and monitor insurance claims Follow up on unpaid and denied claims Verify insurance information as needed Post payments and reconcile accounts Communicate professionally with insurance companies and patients regarding billing questions Maintain accurate billing records and documentation Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, and claim follow-up Experience reducing accounts receivable and resolving denials Excellent organizational, detail oriented and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday remote Friday in-office Additional in-office and remote work schedule to be discussed with the selected candidate

Compensation:
