Coding & Billing Specialist:

strong knowledge of Medical Terminology with A&P required. Coding & Billing Specialists duties coding, billing, professional and positive team attitude, patient collections including calculating patient responsibility per benefits assignments; (supporting verification of insurance with authorizations as app). Report to Coding Supervisor and Billing Manager for timely filing deadlines and meet or achieve department goals, also including unpaid / denied claims, outstanding accounts receivable, and patient statements. Payer Policies and Guidelines experience and or knowledge helpful.

Skills:

Microsoft Office Suite skills, EMR / EHR experience, organization skills, proficiency, work flow, appropriate coding edits, and other supporting duties of billing department. Seeking CCS, CPC, or Certified coder (A- Apprentice) joining our close-knit team at busy Specialty office.
