Job Description

Commercial Billing Follow-Up Specialist Morgan Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Billing Follow-Up Specialist to join our healthcare finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of payments and resolving billing discrepancies to support the financial health of our organization. Key Responsibilities:
Follow up on unpaid or delayed insurance claims and patient accounts to ensure timely resolution Review and analyze billing discrepancies and work with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams to resolve issues Maintain accurate records of all follow-up activities and communications Collaborate with billing and coding departments to ensure proper documentation and compliance Monitor aging reports and prioritize accounts requiring immediate attention Assist in reducing accounts receivable and improving cash flow Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries related to billing and payments
Skills and Qualifications:
