Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team full-time in-office. The ideal candidate must have at least one (4) years of medical billing and Coding experience and a strong understanding of insurance claims, ICD-10 coding, and revenue cycle processes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate claim submission, clean claims, and timely reimbursement for services rendered. Responsibilities Review and interpret medical records, documentation, and provider notes to assign appropriate ICD-10, and CPT codes in accordance with medical coding guidelines. Ensure accurate submission of insurance claims using advanced billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Manage the entire revenue cycle process, including patient billing, insurance third-party billing, and follow-up on unpaid or denied claims. Stay current with updates in medical coding standards, including ICD coding changes and inpatient service coding requirements. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation discrepancies and optimize reimbursement outcomes. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies Experience Proven experience in medical office settings with a strong understanding of medical terminology, health insurance knowledge, and revenue cycle management. Demonstrated proficiency with billing software, EMR/EHR systems, and electronic health record management for billing and coding purposes. Familiarity with

ICD-10, CPT

coding, and coding for physician inpatient services. Knowledge of medical collection processes and insurance claim processing procedures.
