This role is integral to ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and compliance of medical devices within our laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient records and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and comfortable using computer systems. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient safety and regulatory adherence through precise data management and inventory control. Essential Responsibilities Receive and process incoming shipments of returned patient monitoring devices. Open packages and inspect contents for completeness. Separate the wearable monitoring device from the associated paper recording. Verify shipment contents against accompanying documentation. Accurately enter product and patient-related information into company computer systems. Label and organize materials for downstream processing. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the receiving process. Identify discrepancies or damaged materials and notify appropriate personnel. Handle all patient-related information in accordance with HIPAA and company confidentiality requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality requirements, and company policies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Basic computer skills including data entry. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written procedures. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information. Preferred Previous receiving, inventory, medical device, healthcare, records processing, or production experience. Experience working in a regulated environment (medical device, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or healthcare). Experience with barcode scanning or inventory systems. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Frequent use of hands for sorting and handling small components. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Repetitive hand movements and keyboard use throughout the shift. Good visual acuity for reading labels and entering data accurately.
