Insurance Verification Specialist Location:

Tarpon Springs, 34689•This position is onsite

Pay:

$19.00 to $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

Job description: Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for scheduled clinic visits and outpatient procedures using payer portals and direct communication with insurance carriers. Review deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and coverage limitations to accurately determine patient financial responsibility and communicate expected out-of-pocket costs. Process insurance referrals and prior authorizations while ensuring all required documentation is obtained before scheduled services. Update and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information within the electronic health record (EHR) system to support accurate billing and reimbursement. Collaborate with patients, providers, insurance companies, and internal departments to resolve coverage issues, ensure authorization requirements are met, and deliver exceptional customer service.
