Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm EST Home Health Insurance Specialist Team Lead Build a Career. Make a Difference. Love Where You Work. Home Health Insurance Specialist Team Lead is responsible for helping achieve the vision of THAH by providing leadership to the Insurance Specialists within the Customer Care Center in a cost effective, results oriented, patient centered way. Leads the team by example to process accurate and timely insurance verification + initial authorization to achieve exceptional levels of performance that includes customer service. This front-line working position is a resource to manage the day-to-day insurance related operations in the Customer Care Center to promote Teamwork and contribute to team performance goals. This position supports and strengthens the link between our referral sources, RHMs, THAH sites providing care and the patients we serve to deliver seamless referral processing for intermittent services within our communities.

Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent: two years college experience preferred. Two years of experience in coverage verification/benefit determination preferred. Two years of home care experience preferred. Knowledge of governmental reimbursement criteria. Knowledge of third party / managed care contracts related to Agency services is preferred. Strong technology management and competence (phone, computer systems) Exceptional knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid& Third-Party reimbursement Ability to lead/support the team through process / change management.
