ABOUT CARECHOICE
CareChoice Home Care is a home care agency helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and independently at home. We connect clients with quality caregivers and coordinate the services and support they need, day in and day out. We're growing fast across Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, and Florida, and we're looking for people who want to build something meaningful with us — not just clock in and out.
THE ROLE
CareChoice is hiring a Client Enrollment Specialist to join our Michigan team, based full-time out of our West Bloomfield office. This is a hybrid inside-sales and intake role at heart, but it comes with a field component: you'll spend most of your week guiding families through enrollment from your desk, and some of your week out in the community building the relationships that keep referrals coming in. You'll be the first real conversation a family has with CareChoice — walking them through Michigan Medicaid waiver eligibility, coordinating with local Area Agencies on Aging, and turning inquiries into enrolled, care receiving clients. You'll also represent CareChoice out in the market: building relationships with AAA caseworkers, discharge planners, and community partners who refer families our way.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage inbound inquiries from prospective clients and families, guiding them through Michigan Medicaid waiver eligibility and enrollment step by step Own the intake process end-to-end: paperwork, documentation, and coordination with internal compliance and enrollment teams to get clients enrolled quickly and correctly Partner directly with local Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) and other Medicaid waiver referral sources to process and follow through on referrals Conduct outbound follow-up calls with leads and referral partners to move enrollments forward Get out into the Michigan market for field marketing and outreach — visiting AAA offices, community organizations, and referral partners to build and maintain relationships Represent the CareChoice brand at local events, health fairs, and community outreach activities as needed Track enrollment pipeline activity and provide accurate, timely reporting on inquiry and conversion status Maintain strict compliance with Michigan Medicaid and CareChoice documentation and privacy standards throughout the enrollment process
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience working with Medicaid programs required — waiver programs strongly preferred Experience working with local Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) or similar aging/disability service networks required Prior experience in home care, healthcare intake, enrollment, or inside sales preferred Comfortable on the phone and in person — this role requires both consistent inside sales/intake work and periodic field visits Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple client files and follow-ups at once A reliable, empathetic communicator who can explain Medicaid and enrollment processes clearly to families who may be overwhelmed or unfamiliar with the system A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local field visits within the Michigan market Bilingual candidates are a plus, but not required
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
This is a full-time, 100%-in-office position based at our West Bloomfield, MI office. Field marketing and community outreach travel will be required within the local market on an as-needed basis; this is not a remote or hybrid-from-home role. Salary is based on experience.
WHY CARECHOICE
CareChoice is built on our OWN IT philosophy — we take ownership of our work, our clients, and our outcomes. You'll be joining a fast-growing, mission-driven company where the work you do directly changes families' lives, and where your voice and ideas genuinely shape how we grow in Michigan. CareChoice is a Great Place to Work Certified.
