Job Description:

Raritan Valley Community College has an anticipated opening for an Enrollment Center Navigator. The Enrollment Center Navigator provides frontline support in the Student Enrollment Center, assisting prospective and current students, as well as community members, with inquiries related to Admissions, Advising, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts. The position manages communications across multiple channels, including phone and email, while delivering exceptional customer service and coordinating effectively with campus departments. As the first point of contact for visitors, the Enrollment Center Navigator creates a seamless, positive experience that demonstrates the College's impact on individuals and the broader community.

Essential Duties:

Customer Service & Front Desk Support:

Manage daily Enrollment Center operations and reception activities, including opening and closing the Enrollment Center office suite. Warmly welcome prospective students and families who arrive at the Welcome Center, serving as a bridge to Admissions, Advising, Enrollment Services, Students Accounts, Workforce Development, and other departments. Assist students and guests in person, by phone, and via email with enrollment-related inquiries, helping them identify, complete, and submit the appropriate forms while providing exceptional customer service throughout the process. Use the queueing system, QLess, to manage and track student flow and service times. Utilize the CRM system, Element 451, to respond to student inquiries in a timely manner and support the Enrollment Center Coordinator by appropriately routing Element 451 Conversations to the relevant departments. Support the processing, review, and approval of virtual and physical ID card requests submitted through the TouchNet OneCard Portal. Maintain Welcome Center spaces to ensure that branded displays, publications, and digital resources are accurate, engaging, and reflective of the College's identity.

Communication & Technology:

Respond to call center overflow calls and voicemail inbox, offering accurate information and resolving issues professionally. Conduct outbound campaigns to support student re-engagement. Navigate tools like RingCentral, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Element 451, and Banner to ensure smooth service delivery.

Collaboration & Professionalism:

Coordinate with departments to support seamless student experiences. Meet performance goals while maintaining a courteous and student-focused attitude. Stay current with college systems and procedures through regular training and communication. Others duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required. 2 years of excellent customer service or administrative assistant experience, community relations, hospitality, public affairs, or a related field required. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with comfort in engaging with a diverse population of students, college employees, and the community in general. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems, with the ability to effectively navigate and utilize the College's website to assist students, provide accurate information, and support enrollment-related processes. Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively utilize software systems, preferably student information systems such as Banner. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Related work experience in an education setting. Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize customer relationship management (CRM) systems and student information systems to support student services, record management, and enrollment processes.
