S_179960 We're recruiting for a temp-to-hire Utilities Assistance Specialist for a community-focused non-profit organization in Racine, WI working with your local utility company.
If you are motivated by helping others and enjoy a role where your communication skills make a direct impact on individuals in need, this is an ideal opportunity. As a key member of the intake team, you will help local residents navigate essential energy assistance programs and provide the guidance they need to achieve long-term stability.
Role Highlights:
$19.00 per hour
Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with extended hours until 6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Office is located in Racine, WI.

What You'll Do:
Greet clients in person and over the phone to provide a warm and helpful experience
Process applications and conduct intake interviews to determine eligibility for assistance programs
Schedule appointments for multiple county offices and manage a high volume of calls
Answer questions regarding program requirements and refer complex inquiries to the appropriate staff ...
Assist with community outreach events to share information about available services
Keep accurate records and perform routine clerical tasks to support the operations team Working hours: 8:00 AM
