Job description:
Position Summary:
The Temporary Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and project support to the Executive Director. This position is designated as a confidential employee and requires the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment. The role will assist with special projects, coordination of executive priorities, and day-to-day administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director Assist with special projects , including research, coordination, and follow-through Manage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination Prepare documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence Maintain and organize confidential files and records Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments Support internal and external communications as directed Assist with meeting preparation (agendas, materials, notes) Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, or executive activities Perform other duties as assigned to support executive operations Confidentiality Requirement This position requires strict adherence to confidentiality standards. The employee will have access to sensitive organizational, personnel, and strategic information and must exercise discretion at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in an administrative or executive support role Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting executive-level staff Experience in nonprofit or social services environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
