This is an in-person role based in Coral Springs, Florida, starting at 10 to 20 hours per week with the potential to grow into a full-time position. About the company Kirkpatrick Partners is the organization behind the Kirkpatrick Four Levels of Evaluation, the most widely used framework for evaluating training and organizational performance, now supported by its own technology platform. The company operates as a small, fast-moving team, which means this role carries real responsibility from day one. About the role The CEO manages strategy, sales, product, and content for the business while also raising two children in elementary school. This position exists to make sure nothing falls through the cracks on either side. The work varies week to week. Some weeks lean toward business support, others toward personal scheduling, and most involve both. The ideal candidate is comfortable with that variety and treats it as an advantage rather than a drawback. This role also requires a high degree of trust and discretion. The assistant will have visibility into both company operations and family schedules, and will interact with schools, medical offices, vendors, and business partners. Responsibilities Calendar and communication Maintain and manage the CEO's calendar across business and family commitments Schedule, confirm, and reschedule meetings, calls, and appointments Organize incoming email and flag items requiring the CEO's attention Draft emails and written communication for the CEO's review Business operations support Maintain the company's project management system so outstanding follow-ups are documented and tracked Provide reminders on upcoming deadlines and items at risk of slipping Coordinate schedules with contractors, partners, and vendors Research and arrange travel for conferences and speaking engagements Family and household coordination Schedule and coordinate appointments, including medical, dental, school, and activities Track school calendars, forms, deadlines, and family commitments Keep recurring family scheduling organized on a weekly basis Research and special projects Research and shortlist options for travel destinations, vendors, services, and software Summarize findings into two or three clear recommendations rather than raw lists Support additional projects as they arise Qualifications Two or more years of experience supporting an executive, business owner, or family household Demonstrated organizational skills, with systems that are clear to others and not only to the candidate Strong written and verbal communication, including a warm and professional phone manner Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative without step-by-step direction Comfort adapting when priorities shift Proven discretion with confidential business and family information Responsive during business hours, with flexibility for occasional urgent matters Proficiency with Google Workspace and calendar tools, and willingness to learn a project management system Preferred Experience with a project management platform such as ClickUp, Asana, or Notion Comfort using AI tools for research and drafting Prior experience supporting a founder-led business or a busy household Growth opportunity This position begins at 10 to 20 hours per week based on current need. As the business scales, the role is expected to expand toward full-time, with potential paths into operations, project management, or higher-level executive support depending on the candidate's strengths.
