Job Description

Seeking an experienced, positive, dependable, caring professional for 28-32 hours per week in the role of Community Connections Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant provides dedicated support to the Community Connections Executive Director through a one-on-one working relationship. This role involves streamlining daily administrative and operational tasks, serving as a liaison to community coalitions, coordinating outreach efforts, and managing special projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about community service, social change, and has strong organizational skills. They will handle confidential information with discretion and support various office functions to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Director with daily administrative duties including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping. Coordinate communication and outreach with community coalitions and partners. Manage special projects related to community engagement initiatives. Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records. Oversee office management tasks such as invoicing, bill payments, and bookkeeping. Support social media outreach and other communication efforts. Reimburse mileage and handle other logistical arrangements as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years' experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail in all work activities. Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent training is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally. Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary:
$21 - $25 per hour Benefits include up to a 5% employer matched retirement plan, paid sick leave, paid vacation, reimbursed mileage, 14 paid holidays annually, $150 payments each month for full time employees, and a wellness-focused environment with flexible working hours.
