Job Summary We are seeking energetic and motivated Independent Delivery Drivers (Owner-Operators) to join our dynamic delivery team! This role offers the exciting opportunity to operate your own vehicle—such as a cargo van, Sprinter, or box truck—and deliver goods efficiently and safely to customers across various locations. Duties Safely operate your personal vehicle, including cargo vans, Sprinters, or box trucks, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed. Execute efficient route driving by planning optimal paths to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas. Load and secure packages or freight properly to prevent damage during transit, following safe lifting practices and weight handling procedures. Collect signatures or proof of delivery from customers while providing excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude. Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices or electronic systems for tracking and reporting purposes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements & Qualifications Vehicle Ownership:

Must own your own reliable vehicle (Cargo Van, Sprinter, or Box Truck).

Documentation:

Must provide valid vehicle registration and current auto insurance.

Age:

Must be at least 21 years old.

License & Records:

Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 1-year clean history required).

Screenings:

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check (no felony convictions). Subject to random drug testing throughout contract period.

Availability:

Available up to 7 days a week (scheduling flexibility is a must to meet demand).

Experience:

Prior professional driving or delivery experience is preferred, but not required. We will onboard the right motivated individuals! Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting. Strong knowledge of commercial truck driving, route planning, and adherence to traffic regulations. Familiarity with operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Ability to handle physical tasks involving manual transmission vehicles and safe lifting practices. Experience working within warehouse environments or moving goods between locations is advantageous. Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, delivery updates, and documentation purposes.
