Job Description
Printer Operator Museum Store Products has an open position for a UV Printer Operator. Museum Store Products have been working with museums across the country for over 30 years to print and produce products for museum gift shops. The Printer Operator will be required to print orders mainly on a Mimaki UV Printer, in addition to a Canon Digital Press, and an Epson Sublimation Printer. Must have experience with Adobe CC Suite Must be able to color correct images to match approved color Must be able to meet deadlines Will be trained on Mimaki UV Printer and additional printer systems Graphic Design experience a plus! The Mimaki UV Printer is used to print a collection of UV products including Acrylic Magnets, Car Magnets, and Glass Paperweights, with potential for additional products in the future. The Printer Operator will be responsible for the UV Printer and its maintenance, and producing the products for our customers. Will need to be able to use the Adobe CC Suite in order to open and manipulate color on products as needed. Will be fully trained on the Mimaki system. Museum Store Products proofs, prints, and produces all products in house. Graphic Design experience is a plus, and will facilitate potential upgrading to design work for proofing purposes to customers.
