JOB TITLE
FIELD
REPRESENTATIVE
Reports directly to the Executive Director and implements any policies essential to the operation of programs directed in assisting the farmworker and low-income population.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Represent COFFO and the Executive Director in county functions and meetings assigned by the Executive Director. 2. Direct the day-to-day operation of programs, train, supervise, evaluate and recommend the hiring or terminating of staff. 3. Responsible for the maintenance of administrative procedures such as office management, disbursement records, and requests, intake and case management records, retrieval of referral outcomes, maintenance of inventory, etc. 4. The Field Representative must ensure the successful completion of personal tasks and the tasks of other office members. 5. The Field Representative should be well-versed in the legal problems of indigent MSFW or related poor, e.g. food stamps, unemployment, immigration, minimum wage, etc. 6. Broadly, the Field Representative shall direct the day-to-day operation of programs within a geographic area, supervise personnel, request application and expenditure and resources, and coordinate with other providers, clients, and the general public.
QUALIFICATIONS
: The Field Representative should have an undergraduate degree plus two (2) years of experience. (Further experience may be substituted for degree). The Field Representative must demonstrate expertise in several of the above categories. Must be bi-lingual, preferable in English & Spanish due to the clientele being served. Creole would be a benefit and must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
