We help government agencies, businesses, and organizations make informed decisions by collecting reliable, high-quality survey data from people across the United States. We are currently hiring Remote Telephone Survey Interviewers to join our seasonal research team. This is a 1099 independent contractor position that allows you to work from home while conducting public opinion surveys. We do not sell products, solicit donations, or perform telemarketing. Our only goal is to gather honest opinions through professional, unbiased interviews. Your Role As a Telephone Survey Interviewer, you will be the voice of Snake River Insights. Your primary responsibility is to conduct telephone interviews using a computer-based questionnaire and accurately record each respondent's answers.
Your responsibilities include:
Contacting individuals by telephone using our survey system Reading survey questions exactly as written Recording responses accurately and completely Remaining friendly, professional, and neutral throughout each interview Following all survey instructions and interviewing procedures Meeting quality and productivity expectations Participating in paid training and weekly Zoom team meetings Reporting technical issues or concerns to supervisors promptly Successful interviewers are courteous, patient, dependable, and able to build rapport with respondents while remaining completely unbiased. Qualifications We're looking for individuals who are: Self-motivated and dependable; comfortable working independently Comfortable speaking with people over the phone Friendly, professional, and courteous Able to communicate clearly and confidently Good listeners with strong attention to detail Comfortable following scripts while maintaining a natural conversation Able to remain neutral and avoid influencing respondents' answers Reliable and punctual Previous telephone, call center, or survey research experience is a plus, but not required. We provide paid training. Schedule Seasonal, work-from-home position Multiple flexible shifts are available between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. , Monday through Saturday. Consistent attendance during scheduled shifts is expected Home Office Requirements To ensure professional interviews and high-quality audio, applicants must have: A quiet workspace free from background noise, television, pets, family conversations, or other distractions A dedicated desk or home office (preferred) A reliable personal computer or desktop (desktop preferred) Minimum 15-inch monitor Windows 11 operating system Ability to install required proprietary software Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 20 Mbps download) Hard-wired Ethernet connection preferred (or ability to connect directly to your router) Webcam and microphone for weekly Zoom meetings Basic computer proficiency You can test your internet speed at Speedtest.net before applying.
