Primary Position Objectives:

Provide developmentally and culturally appropriate and legally defensible forensic interviews of children and adolescents who are alleging sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, or have witnessed violent crimes as needed. Ensure coordination of MDT intervention, which reduces potential trauma to children and families while improving services and enhancing the MDT response.

Brief Description of Duties:

Maintain strict standards of confidentiality Implement and maintain evidence-based tools to measure program effectiveness and overall client satisfaction with center services Enter data into the case tracking system Complete client notes and ensure all client contact is included in the client file and data tracking system Serve as a resource for professionals and community partners Represent the Northern Kentucky Children's Advocacy Center (NKYCAC) in center-related activities Perform other tasks and responsibilities as requested Conduct therapeutic forensic interviews of child victims in a manner that meets the legal requirements of the investigating agencies and child protection needs Facilitate pre and post interview multidisciplinary case staffing Work with family advocates in making recommendations for appropriate community referrals for the child victim and their non-offending family members Assist in applications applications for services needed, including crimes victim compensation forms Provide information to medical staff prior to and during medical examination appointments Testify in court proceedings when subpoenaed Provide court advocacy when necessary Facilitate and/or participate in MDT teams within Northern Kentucky Develop and maintain interagency communication and networking regarding child abuse and the role of

Education • Minimum of master's of Social Work or master's degree in a related field License • Licensed preferred but not required
