Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support our attorney in managing daily administrative, legal, and client service responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong word processing abilities, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Job Qualifications Excellent clerical and administrative skills, including alpha and numeric filing. Experience operating standard office equipment and technology. Strong computer proficiency and advanced word processing skills. Experience with WordPerfect, QuickBooks, TimeSlips, and Legal Solutions/Essential Forms, or comparable software, is preferred. Excellent telephone and client service skills. Prior legal secretary and/or paralegal experience preferred. Notary Public certification is a plus. Ability to work full-time in an office environment. Typing speed of 60+ WPM. Ability to transcribe from dictation. Essential Responsibilities Maintain attorney calendars, appointments, deadlines, and scheduling. Create, organize, and maintain physical and electronic client files and databases. Draft, edit, proofread, and prepare correspondence, reports, and legal documents. Answer phones, screen calls, take messages, and assist clients professionally and courteously. Perform data entry and record management using QuickBooks and TimeSlips. Handle filing, document management, and administrative support functions. Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. Follow and implement complex instructions with minimal supervision. Communicate effectively with clients, courts, vendors, and other professional contacts. Ensure a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Perform other administrative and legal support duties as assigned. Compensation Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Compensation and benefits are negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills. Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday Day Shift 8-
