Shipp, PLLC Lantana, FL Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $60,000 a year 4 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Filing High school diploma or GED Legal administrative experience Attention to detail Legal case management Time management Full Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our law firm. This position will primarily assist with eviction matters, landlord-tenant cases, HOA disputes, and other real estate-related legal matters. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage multiple active matters while meeting strict court and filing deadlines. Responsibilities Assist attorney with possession matters including, but not limited to, residential and commercial eviction matters Assist with HOA and condominium association disputes Prepare and organize pleadings, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents Assist with court filings and monitor filing requirements Calendar and closely track hearings, response dates, court deadlines, and other critical dates Maintain organized and accurate case files Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, property managers, associations, and court personnel Obtain and organize documents, records, and other information needed for cases Provide regular case updates and ensure matters continue moving forward Assist attorney with preparation for hearings, mediations, and other proceedings Handle additional paralegal and administrative responsibilities as needed Qualifications Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred Real estate litigation, eviction, landlord-tenant, or HOA experience is a plus, but not required Exceptional attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously Ability to work effectively under rigid and time-sensitive deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and comfortable communicating directly with clients Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative Strong follow-through and the ability to anticipate what needs to happen next Comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven law firm environment We are looking for someone who is meticulous, organized, dependable, and accountable. The right candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and wants to become a long-term member of our team.
