Nesco Resource has partnered with a well-established full-service law firm in Uniondale, NY, in seeking a
PART -TIME
experienced Senior-level Litigation Legal Secretary to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a highly sophisticated senior litigation partner in an extremely fast-paced practice. Earn NYC-level pay without the Manhattan commute! This role requires a polished, proactive, and intensely detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure, can manage a heavy workload with precision, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong judgment, unwavering focus, discretion, and the stamina to succeed in a rigorous environment suited for only the most serious legal support professionals.
Base Salary:
Part-time salary $62.00 0 $65.00 per hour (20- 25 hour work week) 4 pm-8/9 pm The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong experience handling complex litigation documents. Experience with Labor & Employment matters and Real Estate is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, revise, proofread, and compare legal documents Prepare and file documents electronically with state and federal courts Create Tables of Authorities, indexes, and hyperlinking for court filings Manage and edit PDF documents, including redactions and formatting Reformat employee handbooks, manuals, and related documentation Utilize Excel for data entry, spreadsheet creation, and data comparison Assemble binders, manuals, and other case-related materials Maintain attorney calendars and docket court deadlines Work within document management and attorney timekeeping systems
Qualifications:
Prior legal assistant/secretarial / paralegal experience in Litigation or a related area Strong knowledge of litigation document preparation and court filing procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Word and Excel Experience with document management and calendaring systems Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
