Here are some key factors that we are looking for: Experience with Medical Supplies, respiratory, durable medical equipment (DME) and billing/coding experience is helpful Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the entire medical supply billing process, Medicare & Private insurance rules, regulations and can abide by policies and procedures. Must be highly proficient and able to work in a TEAM environment. Position will be responsible for billing insurance carriers for respiratory and durable medical equipment from start to finish.

Responsibilities will include:

Inputting patient information into our computer system.
Verifying insurance coverage and benefits on the internet & by phone.
Prepare to submit claims to insurance companies.
Obtain DME prior-authorizations when necessary.
Input supply orders into the system and get them ready for customers and patient's.
Answer the telephones and assist customers and patents as necessary.
Submit and follow up on all insurance claims, both paper and electronic.
Ensure timely billing guidelines..
Obtain pre-authorizations, work closely with staff on billing questions/issues.

Full time position available. Monday thru Friday. No weekends. Must have an upbeat friendly personality in person and on the phones.
