Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor outstanding claim status and take appropriate action to ensure prompt resolution Follow-up on re-billed and corrected claims Ensure outstanding insurance claims are re-billed within the insurance carrier's filing limitations Obtain accurate patient eligibility, coverage, benefit and authorization information from insurance carriers Maintain current patient, payer and claim related information and inform appropriate entity regarding any discrepancies that may cause issues related to reimbursement (i.e., 1500 claim forms, EOB's, patient insurance information) Document outstanding claim resolution activity in the TherapyNotes Claim History Document Communicate with clinicians, external insurance payers and other entities as necessary to resolve outstanding claims Respond to incoming phone calls and emails from potential and current patients. Prioritizes work to meet Soultenders stated response and resolution times. Work with the manager / supervisor to stay updated on new developments and best practices for obtaining complete and accurate eligibility, coverage, benefit, and authorization information Report clinician non-compliance to manager/supervisor regarding claim resolution Assist in obtaining problem claim resolutions as directed Provide project-based and business development administrative assistance as necessary
