Medical Billing Specialist needed for an Internal Medicine practice in City of Industry on a long-term basis. Will review past due accounts and determine next steps to obtain payment for services rendered Verify insurance and follow-up in denied claims Enter applicable charges for all medical claims Contact patients as needed to review Eligibility of Benefits (EOB) and obtain any necessary information Resolve discrepancies in accounting records Job Requirements 2+ years of experience with medical billing (preferably in an Internal Medicine clinical setting but not required ) Billing software experience required Experience with Elation preferred, some knowledge of Office Ally/ Practice Mate High school diploma and medical billing diploma required Billing and/or coding highly preferred Requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills and computer literacy Must have experience with billing software and full cycle billing Commitment to position and company on a long-term basis Ability to be entrusted with confidential information Bilingual Mandarin speaker preferred but not required
