You will be responsible for the billing and collection's function including clerical support of General Home Medical Supply Inc. This full-time career opportunity is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm schedule, and is in Westlake Village, CA.

Knowledgeable of the following: Previous medical office experience preferred. BrighTree Billing Experience is a must.
Knowledge of Medi-Cal HMOs Audits and Appeals CMS Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plan Authorizations Plan Risk Management Duties and Responsibilities:
Generates revenue by collecting accounts, and monitoring and pursuing delinquent accounts. Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients, monitoring payments, and following up with patients when payment lapses occur. Maintains Medicare bad-debt cost report by tracking billings, monitoring collections, and compiling information. Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures, and reporting compliance issues. Ability to effectively write appeals at all levels. Maintains quality results by following standards. Protects Companies' value by keeping collection information confidential. Generate daily billing reports, amount billed with adjustments. Perform month-end activities and report.
Weekly reports to management:
billing activities, revenue, collections, and appeals. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Enhances billing department and practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Legal compliance knowledge. Quality focus on all aspects of responsibility Productivity and time management are essential. Organizational skills with attention to detail. Analyzing information. General math skills. Resolving conflict.
