Please do not contact the office directly. We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist for our office located in Glen Burnie, MD . We are seeking motivated and customer service oriented individuals to join our team.   • Communicate with medical providers to obtain detailed patient account information.
Be able to resolve any billing and record retrieval issues.
Data entry:
Accurately record account information and save documents into the appropriate client files. Maintenance of medical billing, mailing and follow-up. Insurance verification (PIP/WC), requesting authorizations and scheduling referrals. Efficiently manage your phone/email correspondence, and maintain consistent, professional, verbal, digital and written communication with clients and Team Members. Maintain patient confidence and protect medical office operations by keeping patient information confidential. Perform other assigned administrative/billing and records duties, as needed. What you'll need
  • Be available to work Monday
  • Friday, 8 AM
  • 4 PM MUST have excellent communication/phone skills.
Strong phone, computer and data entry skills are a must. (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Adobe) Experience with Personal Injury and Workers Comp cases are a plus Experience with electronic billing systems, medical terminology, and medical records is needed. (Training will also be provided) Just bring energy and a great attitude to the office. Having the ability to multitask in a busy and evolving clinic environment is essential. 2 Years of medical office experience is required.
