Essential Functions Post payments daily Correct claims Answer phones Run AR reports and work claims Check patient eligibility/benefits Patient balances/collections Manage care credit Manage patient payment plans Process refund checks Competencies Ethical Conduct Customer Service Physical Capacity Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role requires the employee to frequently stand, walk, push/pull, and perform some light lifting. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is an Full Time Position. Standard days and hours of work Monday-Friday 730a-430p. You will be required to be in the office for the first year at least. Required Education and Experience At least a High School Diploma and 3 years' experience in Medical Office Billing.
