This position is responsible for all aspects of the medical billing process, including claim submission, payment posting, claim follow-ups, and denial management. The ideal candidate has experience in physical therapy billing, understands insurance guidelines and is committed to maximizing reimbursement while providing excellent support to our patients. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims accurately via electronic and paper means. Verify patient coverage details and submit authorization requests. Assist patients with questions related to insurance coverage, billing statements, and payment options. Post insurance and patient payments. Experience Prior experience with outpatient PT/OT billing is preferred. Prior administrative experience within a healthcare setting is required. Knowledge of managed care processes, health insurance policies, and third-party billing procedures. Experience managing EHR systems with attention to detail in data entry. Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical documentation.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
