Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims. Medical Biller will also need appropriate certification required for this position. Responsibilities

Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems to process medical bills accurately
Submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by paper
Follow up on unpaid claims and denials with insurance companies
Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify billing information
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations Experience
Proven experience in medical billing and collections
Proficiency in medical coding procedures and guidelines
Familiarity with medical office operations and billing software systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
