We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Biller - Full Charge to join our four provider healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire billing process from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, follow-up on unpaid accounts, and maintaining precise medical records. Your expertise will help optimize revenue cycle management while providing excellent customer service to patients and insurance providers alike. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and health insurance information to facilitate smooth claims processing. Prepare, review, and submit healthcare claims using athena electronic health record (EHR), ensuring compliance with all coding guidelines including CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) and ICD-10 codes. Perform detailed medical coding, including ICD coding and medical terminology translation, to accurately reflect services provided. Manage medical collections by following up on unpaid or denied claims with insurance companies and patients, maintaining clear documentation throughout the process. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare claims management practices, health insurance policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. Collaborate with medical office providers to ensure best resulte for all Quality Programs. Utilize Microsoft Office tools and the athena EHR to generate reports, track accounts receivable, and streamline billing workflows. Requirements Proven experience in full-charge medical billing within a healthcare setting; prior medical office experience is highly preferred. Strong understanding of medical coding systems including

ICD-10, CPT

coding, and medical terminology. Familiarity with athena EHR (Electronic Health Records) platforms is preferred. Knowledge of health insurance policies, healthcare claims management processes, Quality Programs, and medical records handling. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel; experience with billing software is essential. Ability to interpret complex medical bills and resolve discrepancies promptly while maintaining attention to detail.
