This vital role involves managing office procedures, supporting Pastor, church members and volunteers, while maintaining an efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and excellent communication abilities to foster a productive and welcoming environment.
OFFICE MANAGER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Office Manager shall facilitate the day-to-day operations of the church office including, but not limited to:
COMMUNICATIONS & ASSISTANCE
1. Provide Pastor with information and assistance as required and requested; 2. Assist with coordinating all office services with staff, volunteers, members, and visitors as may be required and/or requested; 3. Maintain adequate supply of consumable office supplies and materials; 4. Assist with the coordination of all professional, contracted, and/or volunteer companies/organizations as may affect the services and activities of the Congregation; 5. Compile and share information concerning the daily operations of the church with the Pastor, the Church Executive Committee, individual members of the Church Council or various Committees as appropriate; 6. Update website with congregation current links
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT 1.
Perform the data entry requirements for the church's financial management system by coding and entering all approved for payment invoicing and all individual weekly contributions to the church. 2. Assist the Congregation Treasurer with monthly and/or quarterly financial reporting as requested.
RECORD KEEPING 1.
Keep accurate and complete records of the activities and business of the Congregation maintaining a current paper filing system and a historical electronic system as shall be approved by the Church Council and/or Pastor; 2. Establish and maintain a revolving historical paper filing archive keeping in storage the past (3) years and ensuring older paper files are electronically preserved and appropriately shredded and destroyed; 3. Manage and maintain official church records including, but not limited to, membership rolls, baptisms, confirmations, prayer lists, and financial contributions; 4. Maintain and update a current registry of visitor information and assist Evangelism Team with correspondence, communications, and list management as necessary; 5. Continually study, research, and recommend new or improved recordkeeping systems, forms control, work flow, budgetary requirements, historical filing systems, and other operational improvements to the Pastor and Council Executive Committee;
PUBLISH WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS

) 1. Coordinate, prepare, edit, publish, and distribute the weekly and monthly newsletter to members and others who may request the publications; 2. Prepare weekly distribution of worship materials including, but not limited to, scriptures, prayers, music, weekly service bulletins, and attendance reports; 3. Provide and implement continuous updates to all of the Church's social media platforms; 4. Participate and be a member of the Church's Communication and Evangelism Committees by attending their meetings, helping with research, offering informative ideas/concepts, and help provide a productive enhancement. (Appropriate compensation for meeting time will be provided) 5. Proofread work product and to make as accurate as possible prior to distribution
ANNUAL MEETING 1.
Prepare the compilation and arrange for the distribution of the Congregation's Annual Report 2. Prepare and submit to Council an annual budget for Administrative Expenditures; 3 Attend the Congregation's Annual Meeting. Appropriate compensation for meeting time will be provided 4 Provide other support as may be required or requested by Church Council and/or Pastor

Position requires ability to interact and communicate with the general public, church members, outside organizations, and vendors in a positive manner. Ability to work with limited direction and oversight, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to accept new challenges are critical to success in the position.
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
: Position requires computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Publisher, Word, and Excel. Experience using Microsoft Teams is helpful. A working knowledge ofsocial media and the ability to participate in Web Page, Facebook, and lnstagram updating and articlepostings is important. Position requires basic knowledge of accounting processes and a desire toexpand and grow professional skills and knowledge.
