We are seeking an energetic Business Office Manager to lead our administrative functions, oversee daily office activities, and ensure seamless coordination across departments. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your leadership, organizational skills, and administrative expertise to create an efficient and welcoming workplace. You will be instrumental in managing vendor relationships, handling financial tasks, and supporting overall office management to help our organization thrive. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the business office. (Answering phones, processing mail) Prepare, submit, and monitor Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, private insurance billing. Submit Long Term Care Insurance Oversee accounts receivable and collections, ensuring timely payment and follow-up. Maintain accurate resident financial records, trust accounts and HR files. Assist residents and families with financial inquiries and payment arrangements. Verify insurance benefits and ensure proper authorization and coverage documentation. Monitor aging reports and develop collection strategies to minimize outstanding balances. Coordinate admission financial processes, including resident agreements and payment verification. Process payroll and human resource documentation as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborate with the Administrator and support teams to achieve financial goals. Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of business office management experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care setting, or healthcare environment. Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private insurance billing. Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, and resident trust accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
