Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Office Manager to be a part of our growing team! Position Office Mangers support company operations by maintaining office systems and supporting staff. We are looking for a candidate with experience working in Early Childhood in a center setting or with a background of Early Childhood. Responsibilities Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; creating supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records. Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement. Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends. Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. The Office Manager will be thoroughly committed to SEA Academy's mission. All candidates must enjoy working with children, have a positive attitude, and serve as a role model for the children and families at the center by modeling excellence. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience working in Early Childhood or center setting preferred Associate degree or higher Ability to work effectively with staff and parents Must possess sensitivity and maturity and be able to demonstrate evidence of ability to relate well to both children and adults. Must be willing to fulfill responsibilities and obligations according to the school's educational philosophy and program as outlined in the Personnel Handbook, class outline and the policies and procedures of the school. Must possess and demonstrate qualities of the ability to be personally and professionally prepared for the position of a teacher of young children possessing warm, friendly nurturing personality. Must meet as applicable the licensing requirements and standards for certification as issued by the state of Louisiana.
