Job Description
Office Administrator for Brown Dog Carriers Biddeford, Maine Key Job Duties The Office Administrator performs a variety of accounting and office work for our growing, well-respected trucking company. This is a full-time position in our terminal / dispatch office in Biddeford, Maine. Occasionally work may be performed offsite. Key functions include basic accounting with an emphasis on QuickBooks Customer billing Payroll Other duties include general office administration such as writing reports, bringing data together from various systems, maintaining records, filing, managing office supplies and interacting with employees, customers, vendors and third party contractors on the phone, by email, or in person. Hours This is a full time job performed in-office though certain tasks may be occasionally done remotely with agreement of the CFO. Pay and Benefits Pay starts at $25 hourly. ($1000/week). Benefits options include Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance; Short Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance; Voluntary Term Life Insurance and Health Savings Accounts. We participate in the Maine Paid Family Medical plan. Paid Time off starts at 2 weeks after the first 90 days. After 1 year of service, you are eligible for a fully vested 401(k) plan. Other benefits include coffee and snacks, company branded apparel, and a positive friendly atmosphere. Skills This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks. A solid knowledge of standard word processing and spreadsheet systems is also required.
