Job Description

Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Developmental Services (CIDS) is an agency that provides multiple home visiting programs to children and expecting parents. The Office Manager reports to the Executive Director. The Office Manager is responsible for payroll, light accounting duties, maintaining and reporting insurance coverage, and provides human resource assistance to all staff. The Office Manager is an ambassador of CIDS and is expected to create positive partnerships and relationships with CIDS staff, vendors, and other community agencies.

Job Duties Include:
  • Ordering office supplies as needed
  • Completing payroll
  • Document agency expenses in accounting software
  • Ensure invoices and bills are paid to vendors accurately and on time
  • Upload CIDS financial information for the CIDS Finance team
  • Provide CIDS Finance team with timely and accurate information when requested
  • Cash checks
  • Create, maintain and update employee Human Resource files
  • Onboard new employees
  • Assist employees with human resource questions including, but not limited to, health/dental/vision insurance, PFL, Long/Short term disability
  • Keep current with Human Resource compliance for New York State
  • Provide reports to insurance carriers and other entities as needed
  • Complete tax information as needed
  • Assist in cross-training identified staff at CIDS in Office Manager duties
  • Assist with the annual fiscal audit and/or other financial audits that may be required by program
  • Other duties that are assigned by supervisor
Skills:
  • Ability to effectively switch tasks as priorities change
  • Maintain a safe environment for employees to discuss Human Resource issues
  • Maintain confidentiality of staff
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with other agencies and vendors that CIDS works with
Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or higher in Human Resources and/or Accounting Experience in Human Resources and/or Accounting highly preferred Valid driver's license

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
