Job Description

Office Manager / Administrative Coordinator The Conservatory of Music and Dance is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and support our busy performing arts school. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with families, students, and staff while keeping systems organized and running smoothly. We are looking for a long-term team member who takes ownership, follows through, and enjoys being part of a creative environment.
Responsibilities include:
Managing daily office operations and assisting students, parents, and staff Providing excellent customer service in person, by phone, email, and online chat Staying organized with registrations, schedules, follow-ups, and administrative tasks Monitoring and completing office "to-do" lists and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks Creating and maintaining office staff schedules Overseeing office procedures and assisting with training and communication Learning and using our registration, scheduling, communication, and business systems Helping problem-solve and filling in where needed during busy seasons Supporting special events, performances, and seasonal programs Qualified candidates should be: Extremely organized with strong attention to detail Committed to consistent follow-up and completing tasks Reliable, punctual, and professional Able to multitask in a busy environment A quick learner who is comfortable adapting to new programs and procedures Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel/Google Sheets, email, online systems, cell phones, and technology Comfortable overseeing others and taking initiative Friendly and confident communicating with parents, students, and team members Able to work independently while following established procedures
Requirements:
Reliable transportation Consistent availability during scheduled hours and busy performance seasons Ability to commit to evening and weekend schedules
Regular Hours:
Monday-Thursday:
2:00 PM-7:30
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM-1:00 PM Additional availability is required for some Saturday afternoon/evening and Friday evening performances, events, and busy seasonal periods. Experience in office management, customer service, scheduling, education, performing arts, or program coordination is helpful but not required. The right attitude, reliability, organization, and willingness to learn are most important. If you enjoy helping people, keeping things organized, and being a key part of a growing program, we would love to hear from you.

From $18.00 per hour
