This position plays a critical role in supporting overall operations by managing core accounting functions, maintaining smooth administrative workflows, and serving as a key operational anchor. For the right candidate, this position offers significant growth and professional advancement opportunities. Key Responsibilities Financial & Bookkeeping Operations Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including entering invoices into QuickBooks and Bill.com. Coordinate, schedule, and execute weekly vendor payments alongside the management team. Assist with monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations. Assist with the preparation and generation of monthly financial statements and management reporting packages. Assist with the processing of local and state tax filings, including sales and meals tax compliance. Assist with payroll processing, employee onboarding, and benefits administration in coordination with the company's payroll provider [/ PEO]. Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital and physical financial records and filing systems. Office Management & Administration Oversee day-to-day office supply inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships. Maintain organized administrative systems, physical workspace, and official documentation. Act as the primary administrative point of contact for internal staff, vendors, and service providers. Support department heads with administrative logistics, scheduling, and special projects. Assist with routine HR onboarding compliance and employee recordkeeping. Front Desk & Night Audit Operations (Optional / Shift Differential w/ 20% salary increase) Provide front desk coverage during the overnight shift (11:00 PM•7:00 AM) as needed. Handle late guest check-ins, early check-outs, and overnight guest inquiries with exceptional hospitality. Perform overnight property safety checks and execute night audit financial balancing routines.

Qualifications & Requirements Technical Skills:

Proficiency in QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Bill.com, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred; some experience with accounting software is required.

Core Aptitudes:

Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and demonstrated accuracy in mathematical and financial data entry.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization, including the ability to interact with patrons of the Inn and restaurant.

Independence:

Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize competing tasks, and problem-solve independently.

Industry Experience:
