PM Eastern Description Benefits Required Qualifications:
Associate degree. Two (2) years of related work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides administrative and organizational support to assigned area, including performing research, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data, preparing reports and research documents, processing incoming/outgoing mail, preparing correspondence and memos, creating and maintaining record system for area of responsibility, filing, faxing and photocopying. Types and processes various departmental forms, including work orders and payroll information; runs time report and completes weekly payroll sheets. Assists with customer service and provides relevant information to students, faculty, staff, and the community. Responds to walk -in and online requests for services and receives and screens calls. Trains and supervises work-study students and assigned personnel. Tracks, maintains, and reconciles budget information for assigned department; assists with annual budget preparation; completes and submits purchase requisitions; reviews contracts; maintains accurate files and records for area of responsibility. Calculates and verifies Adjunct Contracts; ensures correct pay for employees from appropriate cost center. Assists with Adjunct packets to ensure all required forms are completed correctly before submittal. Assists department personnel with customer service. Keeps appointment calendars and schedules appointments; makes reservations and travel arrangements; receives and screens calls and refers callers to appropriate employees. Procures and receives books, equipment, supplies, and services for assigned department; prepares specifications for bids and quotations; maintains inventory of office supplies/equipment; orders new materials as required. Attends departmental, staff or other meeting to exchange information. Other duties and special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Successful candidates should possess the ability communicate well both verbally and in writing Be skilled in customer service, scheduling and recording keeping. The successful candidate must perform skilled work involving set procedures and frequent problem solving. Possess an eye for detail to produce accurate results, proper grammar and business letter composition skills. Must be flexible, creative and have the ability to work as a team and independently. Possess the ability to multi-task and be skilled in time management with good organizational skills.
