The HR Administrative Assistant is the primary interface with all associates who come to HR. This person must demonstrate empathy, fairness, trustworthiness and a willingness to help

The HR Administrative Assistant works closely with the HR Director and Manager along with department managers, accounting and benefit vendors to ensure the organization's HR policies, processes, and practices are as efficient and high-performing as possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Ensures accuracy of all benefits enrollments in HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. Assists with the open enrollment process. Performs customer service functions by answering associate requests and questions. Assists associates regarding benefits claims issues and plan changes. Responds to inquiries on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquires. Processes all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA Completes I-9 and eVerify processes and maintains I-9 files Submits on-line background and drug screen checks. Assisting with the onboarding process for all new associates. Conducts benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system. Assures all pre-boarding activities are complete and accurate Assists with set-up and facilitation of New Hire Orientation Represent Pink Shell at job fairs and other sourcing events to provide depth to the talent pipeline Provide tour of property for final applicants Preparing all materials for a new associate's first day to create a favorable impression for the new associate Assistance with weekly payroll administration for all associates Maintaining associate records in HRIS/LMS/PMS/Internal Communications Assists or prepares correspondence as requested and performs other clerical functions.

Experience and Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Two years of experience in employee benefits administration. Microsoft Office proficiency required. UKG experience preferred. Spanish and/or Haitian Creole fluency preferred.
