00 hourly About the role: We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our public accounting firm. This is a critical front-desk position that combines client service, administrative support, tax document organization and preparation, and office operations. You'll interact with clients in person, by phone, and electronically while supporting our accounting team in the office. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, enjoys staying organized, takes ownership of their work, and takes pride in creating a positive client experience. What you'll do: Provide professional, courteous, and friendly service to clients. Manage the front desk, answer and direct phone calls, and assist clients with questions by providing relevant information. Schedule client appointments and meetings using Microsoft Outlook. Assemble and prepare paper and electronic tax returns for client delivery. Set up new clients and maintain accurate information in tax and practice management systems. Organize and maintain electronic folders, databases, and other firm records. Provide general office support and day-to-day administrative needs. Scan, copy, organize, and digitally save documents according to firm processes, policies and procedures. Handle occasional errands such as mail delivery and bank deposits. Follow established procedures and workflows and identify opportunities to improve administrative efficiency. Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure work is accurate, complete, and timely. Assist with documenting procedures and maintaining standardized workflows. We're looking someone who is: Client-focused

What you need to qualify:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience. Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred. High level of technical proficiency using computer programs and software including Microsoft Office.
