Computer literate in MS word; Power Point, Access, and Excel. 3. Strong oral and written communication skills. 4. Good human relation skills. 5. Detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. 6. Team player with a positive attitude. 7. Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with others; keep records and prepare reports; communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. 8. Willing to get certified in CPR/First Aid/AED. 9. Possession of valid driver's license in the State of Hawaii preferred. 10. Ability to work with minimal supervision, exercise judgment, and work under moderate pressure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Assist Office Manager/ Director's Secretary and/or Apprenticeship Administrative Assistant with office operational functions, clerical assistance and other duties as needed. 2. Provides support in the absence of the Apprenticeship Administrative Assistant. 3. Assist in communicating requirements of the apprenticeship program to applicants, contractors and outside organizations. 4. Assist in the intake of all applications and ensure that all proper documentation has been collected. 5. Assist in providing information on pre- evaluation requirements as well as all expectations of contractor sponsorship. 6. Assist in updating the Local Union on apprentice status and/or personal information, Daily Work Record (DWR), reports, letters and all other communication as required for current status of apprentices. 7. Process monthly DWR forms. 8. Process class rosters. 9. Assist with minutes and agenda booklets for JAC and sub-committee meetings. 10. Prepares apprenticeship packets to include letter(s) to member/contractors, certificate, enrollment form, and test sheets for filing. 11. Receives and duplicates certifications, training cards and letters as requested by apprentices or contractors. 12. Provides data entry for CCL Apprenticeship, Landscape & Irrigation Apprenticeship, and Environmental Apprenticeship. 13.Prepares refreshments and/or coordination of JAC meetings. 14.Creates, completes and distributes class certifications, letters (original and copies as required for individual files, members and contractors). 15. Manage all records and respond to notification and audit requests from government agencies, Trust Fund Office and International Training Fund. 16. Participate in offsite workshops, seminars, and other educational trade shows. 17. Assists and participates in Training Fund functions. 18. Answer phone calls and emails professionally, provide information or direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member, support positive customer service interaction. 19. Assist in processing daily outgoing mail. 20. Other duties assigned by the Director of Training.
WORKING CONDITIONS 1.
Standard hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Friday. 2. Minimal offsite participation may be required. Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to excellence in office operations! Your enthusiasm and expertise will make a meaningful impact every day.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
