About Us ~ At Moscow Music Academy, we bring the joy of music to our community! We are family-owned and operated and live in the neighborhood. We are a vibrant small music school dedicated to helping students of all ages discover their musical passions. We are looking for a welcoming, sharp, and forward-thinking Academy Assistant to be the face of our school and keep our daily operations running like a finely tuned instrument. The Ideal Candidate ~ You aren't just looking to "clock in and clock out"—you love people, you take pride in managing a space, and you thrive when given the autonomy to make things better. You are the perfect mix of a welcoming, outgoing host and a meticulously organized administrator. This energetic role involves managing front desk operations, supporting office management tasks, and ensuring smooth daily administrative functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, and staff. What You'll Do ~ Be the Face of the
Academy:
Warmly welcome and greet students, parents, staff and teachers. Create an inviting, energetic, and positive atmosphere from the moment people walk in. Own the Desk (Self-Directed): Manage student check-ins, answer phones, reply to emails and texts, and handle scheduling updates smoothly. Anticipate Needs (Forward-Thinking): Look ahead at the week's schedule to spot potential conflicts, prepare materials for teachers, and keep the lobby pristine. Keep Us In Tune (Detail-Oriented): Keep student records accurate, process payments correctly, and ensure no detail falls through the cracks. What We Are Looking For ~
A People Person:
You genuinely enjoy chatting with parents, encouraging young musicians, and supporting our director and teaching staff.
Rock-Solid Reliability:
Our students, director and teachers rely heavily on the front desk. We need someone who treats their shifts as a commitment, arrives on time, and plans time off around our standard school holidays.
Proactive & Self-Directed:
You see what needs to be done and you do it without needing constant direction.
Organized & Precise:
You catch the typos, double-check the calendar, and love a good system. Music Background? A love for music or arts education is a huge plus, but not required! Why You'll Love Working Here ~

Because we follow the standard school calendar, your major holiday breaks are built right into the schedule.

Schedule:
Part-Time | Monday
  • Thursday (2:30 PM
  • 7:00 PM) & Saturdays (9:30 AM
  • 2:00 PM), plus a Sunday student showcase recital in mid October an mid April.
Total:
22.5 hours/week. Stable, consistent shifts that align with the school calendar!
