To assure the effective and efficient operation of the school office.
Job Summary:
Prepares correspondence and memoranda. Registers all incoming students and manages all aspects of student enrollment, withdrawal, and transfer according to District residency and registration procedures. Manages all aspects of student enrollment, withdrawal, and transfer across the district during the summer. Collects and processes registration fees when applicable. Maintains student records. Maintain information in student database (Demographics, Contacts, Assessment Information, Bus Routes, Special Ed, ELL, etc.) Completes purchase order requisitions, processes shipments received and forwards packing slips to the business office. Processes all student activity fund transactions in accordance with proper bookkeeping procedures. Monthly balancing of Student Activity funds balance sheet. Collects, processes, and maintains records of funds received and forwards monies to the business office for book fees, petty cash and other miscellaneous fees. Update and coordinate building budget with building staff and business office. Maintain office supply inventory and place orders when needed. Processes payroll and personnel information. Processes new supply/instructional material orders and maintains inventories of all textbooks. Processes and Maintains Student Work Permits Performs the duties of the secretary and secretary health-aide when they are not present. Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma 2. Proficient in computer skills which include: Google Suite (or similiar), word processing, spreadsheets, databases, PowerPoint, and the Internet. 3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate.
Working Conditions:
12-month position, 7.5 hours per day, Monday-Friday.
