POSITION SUMMARY
The Food Services Coordinator plans and prepares meals for the residential facility. They oversee the dietary needs of the facility, which includes supervision of the kitchen and dining room.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Knowledge of principles and processes of Park Place Recovery Center standards of behavior. This includes providing customer and personal services to our clients, families and any visitors which supports CAYA's Core Values
  • Assume all responsibility of the dietary department including; staff training, ordering, cost control, inventory, diet orders, sanitation, and any other responsibilities deemed necessary by Program Manager and Office Manager.
  • Responsible for meal menu and preparation, food storage, and all state and local health service reviews.
  • Quarterly visit by consultant dietitian and implementing all agreed changes.
  • Supervise the client job duties in the kitchen and dinning room.
  • Participate and teach other staff rules and regulations of dietary to ensure safety.
  • Strive to maintain knowledge of state, and local laws, rules, and best practice guidelines for dietary.
  • Follows Infection Control Procedures at all times and strictly adheres to standard precautions by adhering to usage of protective equipment when handling blood or body fluids.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
    Education:
    High School Diploma or GED; additional education preferred
      Experience:
      1 year of experience in a related position preferred but not required, or a combination of education and work experience
        Certification:
        CPR and First Aid within 30 days, and all dietary certifications as needed.
