Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Part Time Background Screening Specialist . This position is responsible for conducting thorough background checks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. Responsible for ensuring quality customer service, conducting research in government public record repositories, preparing reports that comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other state & federal statutes, achieving assigned metrics and goals, and performing general office-related duties .
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records.
- Make daily deposits.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding invoices and payments.
- Handle other projects assigned by management.
Administrative and Research Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and legal standards.
- Compile and deliver reports within required deadlines.
- Addresses and resolves customer service issues
- General Administrative duties
- Answer phone calls/Emails coming into the office
- Handle Confidential Information
- Assist Walk-ins
- Verifications
- Other Projects as assigned by Management Competencies Required
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technology skills, including the ability to navigate and search related websites. Proficiency with Quickbooks and Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple items in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess a current driver's license
- Previous accounts receivable or billing experience preferred.
- Prior experience in research, investigations, or administrative support is a plus.
