1.241.24.0000.1620 QUALIFICATIONS High School graduate or equivalent (GED). Experience in computer and word processing skills. Demonstrate successful public relations skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to handle workload and wide variety of assignments. Successful experience in jobs of similar capacity. Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 pounds in assisting students, if needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible directly to the immediate supervising administrator. Responsible for performing secretarial functions necessary in the efficient operation of an office, such as: Proficiency and accuracy in typing, Working knowledge of a variety of office equipment. Working knowledge of computers and various programs that run an efficient office system. Ability to prepare reports and maintain general office records. Obtains, gathers and organizes particular information as needed and puts it into usable form. Maintains a regular filing system. Processes incoming mail and correspondence as instructed. Places and receives telephone calls and records messages. Must be able to prioritize workload and adjust accordingly to meet the demands of the job. Perform other duties as assigned. Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner commensurate with his/her position, and projects a good public image of the School District in dealing with the community and employee groups. Review and maintain Pupil Accounting Records. Ability to work independently and to be able to make decisions without direct supervision.
