$15.50$20.00 per hour (determined by education and experience)Position SummaryThe Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support for KVC Missouris Central Education Programs. This role supports daily office operations, maintains accurate records and documentation, assists staff and leadership, and helps ensure efficient program coordination in a trauma-informed educational environment.

Education & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of six (6) months of clerical experienceTwo (2) years of administrative experience preferredAssociate or bachelors degree preferredLicensure/CertificationValid drivers licenseValid auto insuranceExperience & SkillsAbility to type at least 60 words per minuteExperience using office equipment and computer softwareStrong organizational, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information professionallyExperience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment preferredAbility to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced settingRequirementsMust be at least 21 years old to applyPre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check requiredEssential FunctionsMaintain confidential files, records, and non-routine informationPerform general office duties including answering phones, ordering supplies, maintaining office inventory, and assisting internal and external customersPrepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, charts, and other documents with attention to grammar and accuracyMaintain databases, census boards, tracking systems, and filing systemsProcess billing, purchase orders, checks, credit card requests, and receiptsCoordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and interoffice communicationsAssist with travel arrangements, meeting coordination, agendas, rosters, and meeting minutesSupport compliance with administrative procedures and organizational standardsAssist with vendor research and cost comparisonsProcess student enrollments, disenrollments, admissions, and discharges for school programsMaintain program files and prepare closed cases as neededAssist with website updates and program documentation when applicablePerform additional duties as assigned to support the mission of KVC Missouri Why KVC?KVC is a nonprofit child placing and behavioral health agency with a long legacy of compassionately serving children and families.
